Quantum-Enhanced Approaches to Cloud Cost Optimization: Solving Resource Allocation at Scale

Abstract

We tested quantum computing approaches for cloud resource allocation and cost optimization. Using quantum annealing and VQE (variational quantum eigensolver), we found that quantum-enhanced optimization solves resource allocation 100x faster than classical methods when you're managing 50,000+ cloud resources. The paper covers QuedNova's hybrid quantum-classical architecture and benchmarks it against the best classical optimizers available.
